How to create your avatar

  1. Visit the website Avaturn.me in your browser. 
  2. On the homepage, click on the “Create Avatar” button.
  1. Next, register using Google or via email. Using Google takes just one click. 
  2. The following screen is a QR code that needs to be scanned with your phone. 
  • On an iPhone, use the Camera app to scan the code, and a link will appear. Click on the link.
  • On Android, depending on the model, you can scan QR codes with the camera or a separate scanning app. 
  1. Next steps on your phone:
  • Scroll through the instructions (“remove glasses,” “gather hair,” “ensure lighting,” position your face in three photos).
  • Click on the “Scan” button.
  • Select your gender.
  • Allow access to the camera.
  • Take three photos (front view, turn your head 45° to the left, turn your head 45° to the right).
  • Click on the “Upload” button and return to your computer
  1. Your character is almost ready; now it needs a bit of customization. 
  2. Choose body type, skin color, hair, clothing, and more. 
  3. See how your avatar looks in different poses.
  4. Now you need to export your avatar. To do this, you’ll need to install an application called Discord (https://discord.com). Install the application and register. 
  5. After installing Discord, return to the page with your avatar and click on the “Export” button at the bottom.
  6. The following instructions will appear, which you should follow:
  • Click on the “Join us” button.
  • Discord will open, and you’ll need to confirm your connection to the Avaturn server.
  • On the Avaturn server, select the “bot” channel at the bottom of the list (as indicated by the arrows).
  • Then, in the input field in the middle at the bottom, type a forward slash (/).
  • In the menu that appears, click on /avaturn and press the enter key.
  • Click on the red “Export GLB” button, a new message will appear, and in that message, click on the link.
  • Click on “Yep!”
  • Your avatar now has a “Save” button.
  • Click on the button to save the file as “exported_avatar.glb.”

Now it’s all done. You can export your avatar in your profile.
